COLORADO SELECTIONS

Portrait and Biographical RECORD of
Denver and Vicinity

A great new addition to the Memorial Library by mainstays Ted & Carole Miller. I got this book at a great price and just could not resist getting it on line as soon as possible and as usual T & C have done a great job. Complete with special indexes of those that came to Denver from MI or NE and a complete all name index, this will be a boon for all those who are researching out west at the turn of the century.

"Denver By Pen & Picture"

This beautiful remembrance of Denver is from 1898. The book has about 70 photos and or sketches showing the area around Denver at that time period. It also has wonderful history about tourism, homes, agriculture, mining, education, health and many more chapters. There are also 63 photos of important people of the time with a small bio for each. An All name index was added by Pam. Enjoy! Please note I have just totally redone this item to make it easier to read & in the proper format.

"Overland Stage to California"
1901 by F. A. Root and Wm. Connelley -

Frank Root was messenger on stagecoach line and early employee of the US postal service. Material related to KS, CO & NE, includes information on Overland drivers, messengers & station keepers. PONY EXPRESS chapter. Photos & biographical information for some people who are difficult to trace. Original index included. Transcribed by Ted & Carole Miller.
