This is Vol. II of the Two Volume S. J. Clark series published in 1914 and we have looked all over for Vol. I. If you have one that you would be willing to loan or transcribe please contact either Darlene or me. This Vol. is all biographies, containing many that were in the 1889 history, with photos. There is an all name index.
Darlene Coover, the expert in IA transcription and scanning finished several wonderful publications a while back but due to the multiple surgeries I went through (Pam Rietsch, owner of the books and Memorial Library) I was not on top of getting them all catalogued :(( She is a lean, mean typing machine!
Cherokee County Biographical History
Darlene has been busy again and this one is awesome! The book printed in 1889 by W. S DUNBAR & CO., PUBLISHERS, 113 ADAMS STREET, CHICAGO, has about 650 pages and awesome biographies! Hundreds of them and I believe she also did an all name index.
