COMPANY L

     Company L is composed of men from Reed City, Evart and Kalkaska and is a well drilled, finely officered company.

CAPT. WILLIAM G. FLEISCHHAUER

     Captain William G. Fleischhauer of Reed City has had considerable military experience, having served in the regular army, and is a very competent officer well up in all military affairs and exceedingly attentive to the interests of his command.

FIRST LIEUT. GEORGE R. BURT

     The 1st lieutenant of Company L is George R. Burt, son of Wellington R. Burt of Saginaw. He has had extensive military training and is a graduate of Cornell and Orchard Lake.

     Lieutenant Burt is an excellent tactician, a promising young officer and among the most popular men in the regiment.

SECOND LIEUT. HENRY A. RIPLEY

      Henry A. Ripley of Saginaw, 2d lieutenant of the company, is also a well qualified officer and thoroughly posted in military matters. He is a graduate of Orchard Lake and was a reporter on the Courier-Herald.
