INDIAN & WHITE IN THE HISTORY
OF THE NORTHWEST

This fantastic book printed in 1922 is subtitled "A History of Catholity in Montana 1831 to 1891" by L. B. Palladino, S. J. with the introduction by Right Rev. John B. Brondel, D. D., First Bishop of Helena. There are Portraits & other illustrations. It was published by Wickersham Publishing Company, Lancaster, PA in 1922.

Keep in mind that there are things in this book that are NOT the beliefs of either this webmaster, the transcribers or anyone at the MARDOS Memorial Library. The book was transcribed exactly as it was written and it shows the ideas of the past.

SOME GREAT LINKS TO HELP WITH YOUR NA RESEARCH

Recently I connected up with a real expert on Native American research through correspondence with a friend helping the Memorial Library get more data to add to the site. I was so impressed with her sites that I decided to add them to this page. The first four sites are her pages which are meant to help those people who are starting out and need some tips.

The last one is a link to her professional page which will allow you to contract with her to do research on your family lines. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
