EARLY HISTORY OF CHERRY COUNTY, NEBRASKA

     In assembling the information contained in this History of Cherry County, the writer has been aided by many citizens and former citizens of the county. He has consulted the files of newspapers, Sheldons "Nebraska Old and New," Miss Catherine Donohers History of Cherry County in "Who is Who in Nebraska." A residence of 56 years many of which were spent in public service, in the county has greatly helped in its preparation. Records in the offices of the county clerk and county judge have furnished much information.
