This is a brochure that lists all of the seniority lists for Yardsmen and Transportation employees, for the Union Pacific Railroad yards at Grand Island, Nebraska in Hall County.

This is a very small pamphlet about 20 pages of the Rules and Regulations that were instituted to oversee the day to day operations of the Soldier's and Sailor's Home in Grand Island. Some of the rules, like wearing the right uniform and chewing tobacco were humorous. I understand that some members of the NEGenWeb group are in the process of organizing all the resident lists of this facility and will be adding them to the web sometime soon. I made an index of all the names in this book, but do not get your hopes up, there are only about 10 names.
