Can you identify where this is and what time period?

This photograph was found inside the book Heroes without medals, a story of Kearney County NE printed in 1952. It appears to be a farm implement show of some type, but past that I have not a clue....Would like to link it to some county site for NEGenWeb,,,,but do not know where.:((((  Now some think this was from Plano in London England, but I have no clue.
