Corn is King in Madison County

THE FAIR

      The Madison county fair which is held in Madison each year, is one of the best in the state and always attracts much attention. The agricultural and live stock exhibits are generally above the average, while all exhibits are splendid. The horse races, baseball tournaments and other attractions are the means of drawing large audiences each day. The grounds and track surpass any in north Nebraska and are well situated being located just outside of the city limits to the northwest of the town. The dates for the fair this year are September 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th.
