John Lynch Esq.

Dear Sir: Your esteemed answer of the 7th came to hand, and is carefully noted. Pardon us if we are not abashed, and we beg you to forgive us for troubling you further.

We had not the remotest idea what the land cost you, nor what you could afford to sell for. As we wrote before, we have an offer of $14.00 Cash in hand and did not think the price unreasonably low, at all. But since you cannot sell at that price we should be very much pleased to learn what will buy it; though we are by no means sure that we could obtain more from this party but should not in any case fail to make the effort if you care to sell at all.

Again, if you wish to buy at $14.00 per A. Cash. we have a very nice quarter of section of prairie land for sale at those very figures only a few miles from yours as marked red on the map within.

This land is nice and smooth, good plow land. We shall esteem it a great favor to hear from you again, and remain

Very Respectfully Yours

King & Bittner
