BERRY'S LOCOMOTIVE, 1835

These engines were brought out by Mr. Jas. Kennedy, then directing the factory of Mr. Bury of Liverpool, and were favorably known for their compact structure and good working qualities.

These engines had drivers 5 ft. in dia. and had the round backed and dome topped firebox.

Several of the engines came to America and until quite a late day the same general structure was retained by American Locomotive builders.
